Simple Chocolate Pumpkin Mousse

If you love traditional chocolate mousse then you will love this simple chocolate pumpkin mousse! Its ready in about 10 minutes and is a perfect fall dessert that packs in some nutrition! We love portioning these out into small containers and sending in lunches for the kids. Top with your favorite whipped topping if desired for an elevated dessert experience.
3 Ingredient Chocolate Pumpkin Mousse
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 12 oz Semisweet chocolate (use allergen friendly if needed)
- 15 oz Canned pumpkin
- 2 tsp Vanilla paste
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add 12 oz Semisweet chocolate to a pan and melt over medium/low heat. Make sure to whisk every few seconds so chocolate doesn't burn
- Once melted, remove from heat and add to a blender or you can use a bowl with an emulsion blender with 2 tsp Vanilla paste, 1/4 tsp Salt, and 15 oz Canned pumpkin.
- Blend or use the emulsion blender until mixture is smooth.
- You can eat right away but I like it better after it has set for 6-8 hours in the fridge (or overnight works, too). Put in an airtight container with lid to chill in the fridge.
- Enjoy with your favorite whipped topping of choice and/or some crushed graham crackers.
