Cook Time35 minutes
Course: Breakfast
Cuisine: American
Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • cup Old fashioned oats  (use gluten free if needed )
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 cup Coconut sugar
  • 2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 3 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 4 cup Milk  (can use coconut or almond )
  • 1/3 cup Applesauce
  • 1/3 cup Almond butter
  • 1/4 cup Butter  (melted)

Drizzle

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Almond butter
  • 1 cup Organic powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon

Instructions

Oat Bake

  • Mix together 3 Egg, 1 tsp Vanilla, 4 cup Milk , 1/3 cup Applesauce, 1/3 cup Almond butter, and 1/4 cup Butter melted . Whisk well.
  • Then add in 5  cup Old fashioned oats , 2 tsp Baking powder, 1 tsp Sea salt, 1 cup Coconut sugar, 2 tsp Ground cinnamon. Mix until combined.
  • Add wet to the dry and mix until incorporated.
  • Grease a 9x13 in pan and add oat mixture.
  • Bake at 375 for 30-35 min in a 9x13. Make sure center is set but still soft.

Drizzle

  • While cooling, mix together 2 tbsp Butter, 2 tbsp Almond butter, 1 cup Organic powdered sugar, 3 tbsp Milk, 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon. Organic powdered sugar is often clumpy so I would sift it here before adding to remove clumps. Mix well.
  • Once oat bake is cooled, slice into squares of desired size and drizzle with the mixture. Enjoy!
