Apple Butter

One of our favorite traditions is at the beginning of September to go apple picking as a family. Self admitted, we end up picking way too many apples and I hate seeing them go to waste.  This is such a great way to use up any apples you have laying around while adding the perfect compliment to your morning toast or any fall dessert. Plus, you cannot beat the aroma it fills the house with.  A must try recipe for when the nights get crisp while the days are still warm .
