Balsamic Fig Quick Grill Recipe

When it is grilling season, I love a good thick bone in pork chop on the grill. Done properly, I truly believe it can rival a steak. This recipe is quick, easy and loaded with flavor. There is just something about the combination of balsamic and pork I can’t get enough of.
Balsamic Fig Quick Grill Recipe
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 6 Center cut pork chop
- 2 tsp Pink himalayan salt
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 Drench dressing balsamic fig
Instructions
- In a small bowl combine the pink himalayans salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, smoked paprika.
- Rub the salt mixture onto the pork chops on both sides.
- Heat the grill to 375f.
- Grease the grill grates or use grill mats.
- Place the pork chops on the grill and shake up the balsamic fig dressing well.
- Brush each pork chop with the dressing. Close the lid and wait 7 minutes.
- Flip over and brush the other side and let cook 7 minutes.
- At this point start checking the temperature- be sure to cook until a temp of 145f has been reached internally.
- Remove from the grill and let rest 5 minutes. Enjoy!
Notes
Thaw and Cook from Prep
- The night before if you froze, place the pork chops in the refrigerator to thaw out.
