Bosco Sticks

Take yourself back to childhood with these bosco sticks.

These bosco sticks take me back to high school, I think I ate them just about every day for lunch.  We gave them a makeover using einkorn flour and now you can eat them with a lot less guilt. They are created using the Healthier Homemade Pizza Dough.  Serve them with your favorite marinara or butter sauce for a winning combingation.

Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • 1 bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 Healthier homemade base pizza dough see below
  • 8 String cheese (organic)
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Make the Healthier Homemade pizza dough
  • Roll into 8 balls
  • Roll into a cylinder and flatten out
  • Place a mozzarella stick in the middle and roll the dough around it
  • Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes

Notes

Extras
  • You can melt butter and add some salt and garlic salt to brush on before baking in desired. Use our butter sauce or dip in marinara sauce.
REHEAT/COOK IF FROZEN
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and place on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Substitue Options
  • Swap 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour for 3 cups all purpose einkorn flour
