Burger Salad

Total Time20 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

Patties

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Salad

  • 12 oz Lettuce (chopped)
  • 2 cup Grape tomato (chopped)
  • 1 cup Dill pickles (chopped)
  • 1 cup Asiago cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup Onion (chopped and sautéed, optional)

Dressing

  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 cup dill pickles chopped

Instructions

Salad Base

  • Make the salad by diving 12 oz Lettuce into 4 difference containers. I like to chop mine before but you can leave it whole if you'd like.
  • Add 2 cup Grape tomato, 1 cup Dill pickles, 1 cup Onion, or whatever other toppings you like on your salad. Divide topping evenly amongst containers if prepping ahead or plates.

Cook Patties

  • Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat
  • Add 1 lb Ground beef into a bowl with 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, mix well. Then shape into four patties and season with 1 tsp Sea salt and 1/2 tsp Black pepper.
  • Cook about 4-5 minutes per side until cooked to your desired doneness.

Dressing

  • Combine 1 cup Ketchup, 1/2 cup Mayonnaise, and 1 cup dill pickles, and 1 tsp Garlic powder. Mix well and either set aside if using right away or portion out into 4 containers for the week if using for lunches

Assemble

  • Place the cold burger or warm patty on the salad. I like to slice it long ways and then add a little drizzle of the dressing on top. You can always dip in as well. Enjoy!

Notes

Beef Patties
  • You can use any type of meat patty you like. I have used chicken, beef, and bison. A veggie patty could work here too if you want a vegetarian option.
