Simple Candied Pecans

Walking through the mall I can still smell them…the roasted candied nut stand! I always had to grab some as the entire mall smelled of cinnamon and butter. But you don’t have to venture out to make your own with this Simple Candied Pecan recipe. Its all the flavors you love made in a healthier homemade way. We hope you enjoy!
Candied Pecans
Servings: 12
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Coconut sugar (see note below)
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Sea salt
- 4 cup Pecans (unsalted)
Instructions
- In a large dutch oven or skillet, melt 1/4 cup Butter, 1/2 cup Coconut sugar, and 1/2 cup Honeyover medium heat.
- Once melted, add 2 tsp Ground cinnamon and 1 tsp Sea salt, mix well. Once melted, add cinnamon and salt, mix well.
- Then add in 4 cup Pecans and remove from heat.
- Toss around and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool on parchment or silicone mat. Then break apart and store in airtight container!
Notes
Coconut Sugar
- You can also sub in evaporated cane sugar, just decrease a bit to 1/3 cup!
