Chia Seed & Berry Yogurt Cups

Total Time10 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 32 oz Plain yogurt (I love whole milk)
  • 4 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 8 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 2 cup Fresh berries (can use frozen but the texture will be slightly different)

Instructions

  • Using a mason jar or other glass container, add 1 cup of yogurt to each one. 32 oz will give you 4 servings.
  • Then add in 1 tbsp chia seeds, 2 tbsp maple syrup, and a 1/4 cup of the berries in each yogurt cup.
  • Mix around and add a few extra berries on the top.
  • Seal well with a lid and store in the fridge for at least a day before eating to allow the chia seeds to begin to break down.
  • Enjoy with your favorite granola on top or plain!

Notes

Yogurt
  • I love Aldi organic whole milk plain but use your favorite kind! Just make sure its unsweetened
Berries
  • I used fresh raspberries and blueberries. But you can use frozen of any kind of fruit you like! Just know the texture of the frozen fruit will be different if it sets in the fridge.
Maple Syrup
  • Can use honey here as well!
