Christmas Brie Wreath

When hosting a holiday gathering you want appetizers that are simple, delicious, and will impress your guests. This Christmas Brie Wreath hits all these notes and then some! It comes together in under an hour, parts can be prepped ahead to save even more time, and it has all the flavors of the holidays wrapped up in one simple dish. You can use cranberry sauce or a fig jam in the middle.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pizza dough recipe attached above
  • 8 oz Brie wheel
  • 8 oz Fig jam
  • 3 tbsp Fresh rosemary (chopped)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Make 1 Pizza dough recipe (recipe attached) or buy your favorite pre made brand, need about 3 cups of dough
  • Divide the dough into 16 larger balls (about 2 tbsp size) and 8 smaller ones (about 1/2 tbsp size)
  • Place the 8 oz Brie wheel on a baking sheet with sides in the center
  • Then place the dough balls around, start with 8 larger around the brie wheel. Then around the outside of that do another 8 in the gaps. Then use the smaller 8 to fill in the holes to create a full wreath shape.
  • Grab the 8 oz Fig jam and set aside a few tablespoons. Add the remaining jar to the brie wheel and with the remaining few tablespoons brush on top of dough balls.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until dough balls are cooked through and brie wheel is gooey and cheesy
  • Remove from oven, add 3 tbsp Fresh rosemary, chopped over the top, serve!

Notes

Storage for brie
  • Any leftover brie wheel can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container, just reheat in oven.
Bread storage
  • Extra bread balls can be stored in a ziploc bag at room temperature for 3-4 days
