Crispy Fried Chicken Tenders

It can be so difficult to find a clean breaded chicken tender at the grocery store. These Crispy Fried Chicken Tenders are clean, simple, and fried to perfection. These are perfect to prep ahead for the week and then use in multiple meals, they reheat well in the oven. These are fried in beef tallow and perfectly seasoned! Crispy Fried Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

Buttermilk Soak

  • 2 cup buttermilk can make with 2 cup milk and 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 lb chicken tenders

Flour Mixture

  • 2 cup einkorn flour can use all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cup beef tallow

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add 2 cup buttermilk , 2 tsp garlic powder , 2 tsp onion powder , 1 tsp paprika . Mix well and then add in 2 lb chicken tenders. Let soak for 30 minutes or even 1 hour if desired.
  • While soaking, add 2 cup einkorn flour , 1 tsp garlic powder , 1 tsp onion powder , and 1 tsp salt to a shallow dish. Mix to incorporate
  • Heat 2 cup beef tallow in a large, deep skillet for about 10 minutes over medium/high heat
  • Remove chicken from milk mixture, dip into flour mixture, and place in hot tallow
  • Cook for about 5-6 minutes per side. Keep an eye as to not burn.
  • Remove from oven and place onto a wire rack on a sheet pan to drip.
  • Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce or use in your favorite meal
