Crock Pot Pinto Beans
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 16 oz Dried pinto beans
- 1 Onion (peeled and chopped)
- 1 tbsp Garlic (peeled and chopped)
- 2 tsp Sea salt
- 6 cup Chicken broth
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
Instructions
- In pan, sauté onion and garlic for 5 minutes to give it some color. Then add soaked beans, onions, and garlic to crock pot.
- Add 6 cups of broth or you can just use water too. Add in seasonings, stir, and set on high. Let cook all day until bubbly and beans are soft!
- Serve over rice and add your favorite toppings. Or use as a meat replacement in tacos or enchiladas. So delicious and your house will smell amazing

Uses
- These are perfect in a bowl or you can use in enchilada or taco recipes to sub for meat!
Storage
- Once cooked you can portion out into bags and freeze for up to 3 months. To thaw, place in fridge overnight then reheat in a pan or use in recipe
