Easy Breakfast Recipe: Strawberry & Honey Granola
I don’t know about you, but Ill wake up much easier if I know I have something delicious to look forward to! Granola is a great option for a quick morning breakfast as you can pack in so much good nutrients with the right ingredients!
Buying granola in the store will often lead you to disappointment if looking for a healthy option as many are jammed packed with sugar and other items you don’t want in your diet. If you do find a clean version, you grocery budget might not be so happy with how much that teenie tiny bag would cost you!
I love opting to make my granola at home! My preferred oat is One Degree foods that I buy from Costco! Its huge bag for only $9 and I can do so much with it! Its certified no glyphosate spray or residue and is gluten free.
This recipe was a highly requested favorite from my kids all summer and couldn’t have been easier to make! I usually make a double or triple batch and store on my counter in an airtight container for a few weeks and it works great!
The secret to getting that bright, strawberry flavor in there is to use freeze dried strawberries! You can grind it up and/or add in some crushed! That little pop of brightness really brings the whole granola together! We hope you love it!
