Easy Toasted Ravioli Best Recipe
super easy
These easy toasted ravioli are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, the perfect appetizer for your next game day food or holiday gathering!
Sometimes I crave a good mozzarella stick, but know there isn’t a ton of substance so instead I opted to make these Easy Toasted Ravioli Best Recipe! They have all of the crispiness and flavors of a mozzarella stick, but more to the inside making it a win for a hearty appetizer. The best part is you can do these multiple ways- on the stove top, in an air fryer or toasted on a sheet pan in the oven. These varieties are much healthier than deep frying. They are also a great addition to a salad or served with other appetizers for a light meal.
The best part about this appetizer is you can make it ahead of time and freeze so if you are ever in a pinch and need a delicious appetizer you have one on hand. You can use any type of ravioli although recently I have discovered LA PASTA brand and the ingredients are really clean. This is hard to find in store bought ravioli, so if you want to shop this brand click here to see where they carry it near you. You can also use frozen ravioli, but if you go this route let the ravioli that out for an hour.
Ingredients:
- 1 9 oz. package ravioli
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 cup olive oil (for pan frying)
- olive oil spray (for air fryer or oven)
In a small bowl combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, salt, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder. Mix until well combined and then set aside. In a shallow bowl mix the eggs and milk. First, dip the ravioli into the egg mixture and when you lift it out allow the excess to drip back into the bowl.
Next, dip the ravioli into the breadcrumb mixture and remove excess.
If you are doing the stovetop method, heat the oil over medium heat. Add in a single layer of ravioli and cook 1-2 minutes on each side until the ravioli turns golden brown. Transfer the ravioli to a plate with a paper towel on top and place the ravioli on it.
For the oven baking method, place the ravioli on a parchment lined large baking sheet. Spray each side with olive oil spray and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes flipping half way through at 375 f. The ravioli is done when both sides are golden brown and puffy.
Enjoying the Easy Toasted Ravioli Best Recipe
Once the ravioli is cooked, enjoy it with warm marinara sauce. You can use any type of ravioli you would like. My personal favorite ravioli for this recipe is spinach and artichoke stuffed ravioli. Toasted ravioli is the ultimate snack or appetizer that combines a crispy exterior with a soft, flavorful filling. With its irresistible taste and addicting texture, this dish is sure to become a favorite among both kids and adults alike.
This crispy toasted ravioli lies in its perfect balance between crunchiness and softness. The ravioli is breaded and fried to a golden brown, creating a satisfyingly crispy coating that adds a delightful crunch with every bite. Yet, inside this crunch
y shell, lies a velvety and savory filling that melts in your mouth, providing a burst of flavor that is
simply irresistible. It is the most delicious snack.
