Ham and Gruyere Focaccia Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 Focaccia bread  (Focaccia brand cooked in 12 inch cast iron skillet (see component recipe))
  • 3 cup Ham steak  (Chopped)
  • 3 cup Gruyere  (shredded from a block)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400f. and line a sheet pan with parchment paper. 
  • Slice the1 Focaccia bread  in half horizontally to make 2 circles. 
  • Sprinkle the 3 cup Ham steak  chopped on top
  • Sprinkle the 3 cup Gruyere  cheese shredded on top. 
  • Place the top of the focaccia on. 
  • Carefully place on the parchment lined baking sheet. 
  • Bake for 12 -15 minutes. 
  • Let rest 3 minutes and slice.
