Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup Cane sugar (can also use coconut sugar)
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup (can use to 3/4 c if you like it sweeter)
  • 3 Oranges (zested and juiced)
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground clove

Instructions

  • Over medium heat, add 1 bag Fresh cranberries
  • Then add 1 cup Cane sugar, 1/2 cup Maple syrup, zest and juice of 3 Oranges, 1 tsp Ground cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp Ground clove.
  • Continue to mix well as cranberries cook and break down
  • Cook for about 10-15 minutes until mixture is thickened and cranberries are fully soft and mushy.
  • Remove from heat, cool, and store in glass airtight container until needed
