Homemade Hamburger Buns/Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 tbsp Dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cup Warm water (heated between 100f and 110f)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 1/2 cup Einkorn flour
  • 1 tsp Pink himalayan salt
  • 1/4 cup Einkorn flour (extra flour for rolling out)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients through olive oil in a bowl and let rest 5 minutes until bubbly.
  • Add in the salt and flour and mix together loosely.
  • Cover with light cloth and let rest in a warm place for an hour and a half. Sprinkle extra flour onto the counter and roll dough out kneading it into flour. Break into 10 separate balls.
  • Place on a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper. Top with your favorite topping. We like everything but the bagel salt.
  • Cover with the light towel and let rise until doubled in size. It takes about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 425 and once preheated place on the over for about 15 minutes until done.
