Homemade Turkey and Cheese Hot Pockets
Ingredients
- 1 Pizza dough see linked recipe above
- 1 cup Deli turkey (any kind will work)
- 1 cup Cheese any kind will work, see note below for combos
- 4 tbsp Garlic butter see linked recipe above
Instructions
- Take 1 Pizza dough that is thawed or you can make fresh ( pizza dough recipe found linked above)
- Divide into 8 equal pieces and roll into a ball
- Flour working surface, roll out once piece into about an 8inch circle
- Fill with 1 cup Deli turkey (any kind will work) and 1 cup Cheese of choice (you could add any other veggies you would like as well)
- Fold in half to edges meet and start at once corner, roll the ends in towards the hot pocket until you reach the other side. This will seal to ensure all the toppings stay in.
- Add a little slit with a sharp knife on the top to allow steam to exit while baking
- Bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Brush with 4 tbsp Garlic butter right out of the oven divided amongst them all
- Enjoy or freeze for a later day

- we have a super easy recipe that works great here but you can buy your favorite brand if you prefer.
deli meat and cheese
- Here are some of our favorite combos to use in these: ham & gruyere, turkey and swiss, salami and harvarti, pepperoni and mozzarella, and ham and cheddar.
THAW/COOK IF FROZEN
- Thaw pizza dough in the fridge the night before use.
- If you made and froze unbaked, bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes until heated through on a parchment lined paper
