Kind Bar Dupe

Total Time2 hours
Course: Breakfast, Snack
Cuisine: American
Servings: 28

Ingredients

  • 5 cup Nuts (I did a mix of cashews and almonds)
  • 1/2 cup Brown rice syrup
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 tsp Pink himalayan salt
  • 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract

Chocolate Drizzle

  • 1/2 cup Milk chocolate chips (we love Nestle Allergen-super clean)
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil

Instructions

Make Bars

  • In a food processor, add 5 cup Nuts and pulse until you have some pieces and some whole. Took me about 30 pulses.
  • Then add nuts to a bowl. Add in 1/2 cup Brown rice syrup, 1 cup Almond flour, 1 tsp Pink himalayan salt, 2 tsp Vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup Butter. Mix well until combined.
  • Add parchment to a 9x13 in pan and press in nut mixture until flat and even. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Finish bars

  • Add 1/2 cup Milk chocolate chips and 1 tsp Coconut oil to a bowl, melt in microwave in 45 second increments on a power of 80% until smooth and melted.
  • Drizzle over chocolate, as much as you desire. Refrigerate again for 30 minutes before slicing.
  • Grab bars from fridge. Slice in half vertically, then slice each half into 3 sections, still vertically( you will have 6 rows total).
  • Slice once through the middle, horizontally. Then you will have 14 larger bars. You could leave this size if you desire but I divide each bar in half again, which is more like the real Kind Bar size.
  • Enjoy! See below for storage

Notes

Storage
  • bars should be stored in the fridge in an airtight container or ziploc bag.
  • Will last up to 2 weeks!
