Lemon, Cucumber & Dill Yogurt Sauce Dinner
Ingredients
- 1 cup Plain yogurt (I used whole milk plain)
- 2 Lemon zest (use the zest of 2 lemons)
- 1 Lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon, about 1/4 c)
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 cup Cucumber (thinly sliced, then cut in half )
- 2 tsp Garlic
- 2 tbsp Fresh dill
Instructions
- Heat a small skillet over medium heat, and sauté 2 tsp fresh chopped garlic until lightly browned, remove from heat.
- In a medium bowl with a lid, add 1 c plain whole milk yogurt, zest of 2 lemons, juice of 1 lemon (about 1/4 c), 1/2 tsp garlic powder and black pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 c thinly sliced cucumber, 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill, and 2 tsp of chopped roasted garlic.
- Mix well. Add lid and chill for at least a few hours before using but best to set overnight.
- Use as a dip or on your favorite wrap!

storage
- will store in the fridge with a lid for about a week. Can freeze extras for up to 2 months. Thaw in fridge the night before using
