Lemon, Cucumber & Dill Yogurt Sauce Dinner

Lemon, Cucumber & Dill Yogurt Sauce Dinner

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain yogurt  (I used whole milk plain)
  • 2 Lemon zest  (use the zest of 2 lemons)
  • 1 Lemon juice  (juice of 1 lemon, about 1/4 c)
  • 1/2  tsp Garlic powder
  • 1  tsp Salt
  • 1/2  tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2  cup Cucumber  (thinly sliced, then cut in half )
  • 2  tsp Garlic
  • 2  tbsp Fresh dill

Instructions

  • Heat a small skillet over medium heat, and sauté 2 tsp fresh chopped garlic until lightly browned, remove from heat. 
  • In a medium bowl with a lid, add 1 c plain whole milk yogurt, zest of 2 lemons, juice of 1 lemon (about 1/4 c), 1/2 tsp garlic powder and black pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 c thinly sliced cucumber, 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill, and 2 tsp of chopped roasted garlic. 
  • Mix well. Add lid and chill for at least a few hours before using but best to set overnight. 
  • Use as a dip or on your favorite wrap!

Notes

storage
  • will store in the fridge with a lid for about a week. Can freeze extras for up to 2 months. Thaw in fridge the night before using
