Fresh Lemon Pesto Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 cup Fresh basil
- 1 tsp Fresh garlic (peeled and chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Pink himalayan salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1 Lemon (zested and juiced)
- 3/4 cup Parmesan (freshly shredded is best)
- 1/3 cup Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
Blend
- In a blender or food processor, add 3 cup Fresh basil, 1 tsp Fresh garlic, 1/2 tsp Pink himalayan salt, 1/4 tsp Black pepper, 1 Lemon (juice and zest), 3/4 cup Parmesan, and 1/3 cup Extra virgin olive oil.

Storage
- Store in a mason jar or airtight container for up to 5 days before use
- Freeze in ice cube trays and store little frozen blocks in ziploc bag for up to 2 months.
- Add cubes to pastas or thaw and use in any other recipe as a marinade, sauce, etc.
