Perfect Bar Dupe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Peanut butter (creamy is best)
  • 2 scoop Protein powder (I used chocolate, Simple by Orgain Organics )
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Pink himalayan salt
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract (vanilla bean paste works well too)
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened coconut (reserve a tablespoon for sprinkling on top)
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips (we love Nestle Allergen-super clean)
  • 3 tbsp Water (optional, read below for more)

Instructions

  • In food processor, add all ingredients except water and 1 tbsp of unsweetened coconut 
  • Blend well until mixture forms a ball shape and is combined. If dough is a little dry, add in 1 tbsp of water at a time while food processor is on until it holds together better. Do not add to much! 
  • Line an 8x8 pan with parchment and press mixture firmly into the pan and flatten. Sprinkle with remaining coconut 
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into 10 bars. You can make them smaller if you would prefer! Enjoy

Storage
  • Store in sealed bag or other airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Allergens
  • Can be made dairy free if you opt for diary free chocolate chips. naturally gluten free. also watch the protein powder choice for allergens
