Pizza Salad
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 4 cup Romaine
- 1/2 cup Banana pepper (chopped)
- 1 cup Salami (uncured, sliced)
- 1 cup Pepperoni (sliced, uncured)
- 8 oz Fresh mozzarella (drained, diced)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan (freshly grated is best)
Dressing
- 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup White wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp Dried basil
Instructions
Dressing
- Mix dressing ingredients in a jar or bowl. Set aside or cover and refrigerate until use
Make Salad
- In a bowl, add chopped romaine, banana peppers, salami, and pepperoni.
- Then add diced mozzarella.
- Toss on dressing and mix well.
- Top with fresh grated parmesan cheese before serving
- Serving Suggestion: You can serve salad as is or you can serve in a pita for a more filling meal! See our attached pita recipe or buy your fav!
Notes
Storage
- If you want to eat salad over a few days, only add dressing to the amount you are going to use
Pitas
- If you make and freeze, thaw in microwave for 60 seconds or on counter for an hour
