Quaker Granola Bar Dupe
Servings: 16
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Butter (melted, can use coconut oil to make it dairy free)
- 1/2 cup Maple syrup
- 2 Egg
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 cup Rolled oats (I love One Degree Foods)
- 1 cup Einkorn flour (use 3/4 cup all purpose/gf flour instead if desired)
- 1 tsp Pink himalayan salt
- 1 cup Chocolate chips (we love nestle allergen friendly, so clean)
Chocolate Dip
- 10 oz Chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil (sub ghee or butter for nut allergy )
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Line 9x13 in pan with parchment
- In a large bowl, add 1/2 c melted butter, 1/2 c maple syrup, 2 eggs, and 2 tsp vanilla extract. Mix well
- Then add 2 c oats, 1 c flour, 1 tsp salt, and 1 c chocolate chips. Mix well until combined.
- Add to pan and bake for 22-25 minutes, until golden on the edges and set
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes, remove parchment from pan, then slice into 16 equal sized bars
- Melt 10oz of chocolate with 1 tbsp of coconut oil over low heat in a saucepan. Whisk until melted and smooth.
- Line sheet tray with parchment, dip bottom of granola bars in chocolate, add to sheet tray or you can just drizzle the chocolate over the top for the same effect.
- Once done, refrigerate until chocolate is set. Store granola bars in bag in fridge. Enjoy!
Notes
Allergens
- Can be made dairy free, nut free, and gluten free based on your choice of flour, oats, and chocolate chips. Butter can also be replaced with coconut oil if not nuts are an issue
