Round Steak Dinner
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 2 lb Round steak
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 lb New potato
- 4 cup Broccoli (or swap with your families favorite veggie)
- 1 tsp Salt and pepper (each)
- 1 Garlic butter (see homemade recipe in base recipes)
Instructions
- Thaw steak if frozen overnight in fridge. If you already prepped skip this step. If not, day of, toss thawed steak in bag with oil and seasoning.
- Grab potatoes, slice long ways and place potato (not skin side) down on pan. Drizzle with oil and salt/pepper. Bake potatoes at 375 for 20-25 min.
- Start heating cast iron or grill now while prepping veggies. Toss with oil and seasoning and place in cast iron to cook or on sheet pan in oven on 375 for 20-25 min as well.
- Once grill or griddle is hot, cook steak 5 min on each side. If you'd like it more medium-medium/well cook an additional 2 min on each side. Pull steak off griddle and allow to rest, covered for 10 min.
- Slice steak diagonal into thin slices. Place garlic butter on top if desired. Serve with potatoes and veggies and some garlic butter!
