Sheet Pan Pizza Sandwich
Servings: 5
Ingredients
- 10 slice Bread (gluten free or regular works great)
- 1 1/4 cup Pizza sauce (use your favorite clean brand)
- 1 1/2 cup Cheese (I used Monterray jack and Asiago, shredded myself)
- 10 slice Pepperoni (I used Applegate, uncured)
- 1/2 cup Banana pepper
- 1 cup Pizza toppings (any other pizza toppings you like!)
Herbed Butter
- 1/2 cup Butter (room temperature)
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Dried basil
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
Instructions
Make Butter
- Mash butter ingredients together in a small dish and mix well. Set aside
Assemble Sandwiches
- Preheat oven to 425
- Grab your 10 slices of bread (or however many you need for your family)
- Add a thin layer of butter to bottom of each sandwich piece. Place on baking tray, no liner needed
- Add 1/4 cup of sauce on the bottom layer of bread. Add about 1/4-1/3 cup cheese, pepperoni, and any other toppings you might like on the pizza sandwich.
- Butter top layer of sandwich and place on top.
- Bake at 425 for 10 minutes, then flip, bake another 10 minutes.
- Remove, let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and eating! Enjoy with a light salad or roasted veggies for a complete meal.
Notes
Storage
- Can keep leftover in the fridge, reheat at 350 in oven for 10 minutes. These make great make ahead lunches too for school for the kids
Allergens
- Can be made gluten free based on your bread choices. Its naturally nut free if you opt for bread without nuts
