Simple and delicious homemade chicken salad
Ever have an night when you and your family are going in separate directions?! No one is home at the same time, everyone gets back at different times, its kind of nuts. Dinner can be so hard on these nights because to keep it warm enough so your family can eat when it works for them feels near impossible!
On those nights, I don’t even bother with warm food! I go for this simple and delicious homemade chicken salad! Its ingredients you will likely have on hand already, comes together in minutes, and can be prepped and stored in the fridge for a few days (and IMO the flavors meld together and its amazing the longer it sits!) I also make the 30 minute bagel recipe for the bread and just form into buns but you can also do wraps, regular bread, salad, or even dip in crackers!
You can pack this up easily in a cooler for on the go meals. Just pack some cut up veggies and dip for a complete meal!
You can use dry dill if you don’t have fresh and it will still work great but fresh is always best.
I also use our homemade mayo recipe for the mayonnaise in here but you can use your favorite brand if you’d like! I also do not add nuts to my recipe but you can always add some toasted, slivered almonds if your family likes that added.
I hope this recipe helps you eat healthy and fuel yourself well even on those hectic, busy nights!
