Skillet Chicken and Broccoli Fettuccini Alfredo
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 lb Boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 1 cup Fresh mushrooms
- 10 3/4 oz Broccoli florets
- 1 tsp Pink himalayan salt
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 4 Whole garlic cloves (pressed)
- 2 cup Whole milk
- 3 cup Chicken broth
- 9 oz Fettuccine
- 3/4 cup Cream
- 2 cup Parmesan (shredded from a block)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet (I use a 15 inch) over medium heat. Add in the chicken, onion, mushrooms, broccoli, salt, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Let it cook all the way through and be sure the broccoli is almost cooked through.
- Add in the pressed garlic cloves and cook for 1 minute.
- Add in the milk and broth and bring to a rolling boil.
- Add in the pasta and stir frequently.
- Add in the heavy cream and let thicken- stirring frequently
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheese.
- Serve immediately for best flavor.
