Skillet Chicken and Broccoli Fettuccini Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lb Boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 Onion (diced)
  • 1 cup Fresh mushrooms
  • 10 3/4 oz Broccoli florets
  • 1 tsp Pink himalayan salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 Whole garlic cloves (pressed)
  • 2 cup Whole milk
  • 3 cup Chicken broth
  • 9 oz Fettuccine
  • 3/4 cup Cream
  • 2 cup Parmesan (shredded from a block)

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet (I use a 15 inch) over medium heat. Add in the chicken, onion, mushrooms, broccoli, salt, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Let it cook all the way through and be sure the broccoli is almost cooked through.
  • Add in the pressed garlic cloves and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add in the milk and broth and bring to a rolling boil.
  • Add in the pasta and stir frequently.
  • Add in the heavy cream and let thicken- stirring frequently
  • Remove from heat and stir in the cheese.
  • Serve immediately for best flavor.
