Sloppy Joe Wrap
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 6 Pita (Buy favorite brand or make ours from staple recipes)
- 1 1/2 lb 85 percent lean ground beef
- 1 Onion (peeled and chopped)
- 2 tsp Garlic (peeled and chopped)
- 1 cup Mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
Sauce
- 1 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 2 tsp Mustard
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tsp Chili powder
Salad and Dressing
- 2 cup Romaine (washed and chopped)
- 4 tbsp Favorite italian dressing (Or use our homemade dressing in staples)
Instructions
Cook Meat
- *If you froze meat, thaw overnight in fridge beforehand. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Dump in meat and sauce mixture with onion and garlic.
- Cook about 10 minutes until cooked through.
Prep Salad
- Chop lettuce if you haven't prepped already and add dressing. Toss and set aside.
Assemble
- *Thaw pitas overnight on counter if you prepped them beforehand
- Lay pita flat on a plate, add grated cheddar cheese on the bottom, sloppy joe mixture next, then add the dressed salad.
- Wrap up and enjoy!
