Sloppy Joe Wrap

Ingredients

  • 6 Pita (Buy favorite brand or make ours from staple recipes)
  • 1 1/2 lb 85 percent lean ground beef
  • 1 Onion (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 tsp Garlic (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 cup Mild cheddar cheese (shredded)

Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tsp Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tsp Chili powder

Salad and Dressing

  • 2 cup Romaine (washed and chopped)
  • 4 tbsp Favorite italian dressing (Or use our homemade dressing in staples)

Instructions

Cook Meat

  • *If you froze meat, thaw overnight in fridge beforehand.  Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Dump in meat and sauce mixture with onion and garlic.
  • Cook about 10 minutes until cooked through.

Prep Salad

  • Chop lettuce if you haven't prepped already and add dressing. Toss and set aside.

Assemble

  • *Thaw pitas overnight on counter if you prepped them beforehand
  • Lay pita flat on a plate, add grated cheddar cheese on the bottom, sloppy joe mixture next, then add the dressed salad.
  • Wrap up and enjoy!

  • Buy your favorite Italian dressing (we love Primal Kitchen or Drench) or use our recipe in Staples
