Tangy BBQ Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 16 Meatballs (buy or use our easy homemade recipe attached)
  • 2 cup Barbecue sauce  (Buy or use our easy homemade recipe- attached)
  • 3 cup Mashed potatoes (see our mashed potato trick to prep ahead)
  • 12 oz Broccoli  (I buy frozen, use any veggies you like here though)

Instructions

  • First, make sure to either use recipes attached for meatballs, sauce, and mashed potatoes or buy your own/make your another kind you like. 
  • In a slow cooker, add 16 meatballs with 1/2 c of bbq sauce. Turn on low and cook all day or on high for 4-5 hours. 
  • Once cooked, turn off heat and add in remaining 1 1/2 c bbq sauce, add lid, and allow sauce to heat for a few minutes. 
  • In a saute pan, add 12 oz of your favorite frozen veggies, sauce and season with salt and pepper until roasted and warmed through. 
  • Plate BBQ meatballs with mashed potatoes and veggies. You can use another side besides mashed potatoes (ie: rice, biscuits, etc) if you desire. 
  • Enjoy!
