Turkey and Cheese Sheet Pan Sandwiches w/ Honey Butter

Ingredients

  • 6 Onion buns (Buy or make ours, recipe attached)
  • 6 Provolone cheese slices (can use another kind if you prefer)
  • 12 slice Deli turkey (we love aldi organic sliced deli meat)
  • 6 tbsp Mustard (I use yellow, you can also use dijon or ground mustard)

Honey Butter

  • 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup Honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line a sheet pan with parchment 
  • Slice 6 onion buns in half
  • Place 1 tbsp yellow mustard on bottom half of each bun
  • Layer turkey, provolone, and any other toppings, peppers, etc you might enjoy 
  • Place top of onion bun on 

Make Honey Butter

  • Melt 1/4 cup butter in small bow, then add in 1/4 c of honey. Mix well. 
  • Brush tops of sandwiches with some honey butter, bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes, until crispy and warm. 
  • Serve with roasted veggies, fries, or chips! 

Notes

Storage
  • Store extras in Ziploc bag in the fridge or freezer. To thaw, leave in fridge overnight or defrost in microwave for a few minutes, then reheat in oven until crispy.
