1 Dutch oven If you have an all in one cooker, you can use that instead.

4Onions(thinly sliced into rings)
1tspPink Himalayan saltCan swap sea salt
1tspOrganic nion powder

1/4cupRed winea bold one like zinfandel, cab or merlot

1sprig Fresh thyme
1sprig Fresh rosemary
64ozBeef bone broth
12sliceGruyere(can leave off if GF)
1cupCroutons(can opt for gf croutons)

In Dutch oven over medium heat add in 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil. Once heated, add in the 4 Onions sliced, 1 tsp Pink Himalayan salt, 1 tsp Organic nion powder and 11 tsp Organic garlic powder.
Stir frequently until caramelized. Add in1/4 cup Red wine to deglaze the pan.
Pour in 64 oz Beef bone broth.
Make a little sachet out of cheese cloth. Tie 1 Bay leaf, 1 sprig Fresh thyme, 1 sprig Fresh rosemary together to make a sachet. Put on the lid and let simmer for 30 minutes.
Ladle into oven safe bowls. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of croutons on top and place 3 slices of gruyere on top.
Place on a sheet pan and place under the boiler. Keep a close eye and remove once the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
Notes
You can easily create this recipe in an all-in-one cooker. After you sear and add the ingredients in place the lid on and let cook on low 8 hours or on high 4 hours.
