Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. steak sirloin
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. chipotle powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Taco or Tortilla Shells

Instructions

  • In a slow cooker add in 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1 1/2 lb. steak and1 onion chopped.
  • Pour on 1/3 cup orange juice, juice of1 lime, 3 cloves garlic minced, 11 tsp. chili powder, 1/2 tsp. chipotle powder, 1/2 tsp. cumin, 1 tbsp. rice vinegar, 1/2 tbsp. honey, 1 tsp. garlic powder, 1 tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. salt.
  • Place the lid on and cook for 6-8 hours on high or 2-4 hours on low.
  • Remove the lid and on low use a beater to shred the meat.
  • Serve on your favorite soft shells and top with your favorite topping such as sour cream, cheese, avocado etc.
