Crockpot Beef Carne Asada

- 1 slow cooker
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 lb. steak sirloin
- 1 onion sliced
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1 lime juiced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. chipotle powder
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp. honey
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Instructions
- In a slow cooker add in 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1 1/2 lb. steak and1 onion chopped.
- Pour on 1/3 cup orange juice, juice of1 lime, 3 cloves garlic minced, 11 tsp. chili powder, 1/2 tsp. chipotle powder, 1/2 tsp. cumin, 1 tbsp. rice vinegar, 1/2 tbsp. honey, 1 tsp. garlic powder, 1 tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. salt.
- Place the lid on and cook for 6-8 hours on high or 2-4 hours on low.
- Remove the lid and on low use a beater to shred the meat.
- Serve on your favorite soft shells and top with your favorite topping such as sour cream, cheese, avocado etc.
