Parmesan and Herb Pork Chops

Equipment

  • 2 small bowls
  • 1 cast iron skillet

Ingredients

  • 4 bone in pork chops
  • 1 tsp fresh chives
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp fresh oregano
  • ¼ tsp fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • 2 cups parmesan (shredded from a block)
  • 2 whole garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • cup Greek yogurt

Instructions

  • In a small bowl combine 2 cups parmesan, 2 whole garlic cloves pressed, 1 tsp fresh chives chopped, 1 tsp fresh thyme chopped, 1 tsp fresh oregano chopped, ¼ tsp fresh rosemary chopped.
  • In another small dish or bowl combine 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt, 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp onion powder.
  • Sprinkle onto 4 bone in pork chops and rub in to both sides.
  • Coat the pork chops with ⅓ cup Greek yogurt on both sides on all 4.
  • Press the parmesan cheese and herb mixture onto both sides of the pork chops.
  • Heat a cast iron skillet on the grill to 400℉. Place pork chops in the skillet and sear on both sides until cooked to 145℉.
  • Let rest 5 minutes and serve.
