Parmesan and Herb Pork Chops

Parmesan and Herb Pork Chops

Equipment
- 2 small bowls
- 1 cast iron skillet
Ingredients
- 4 bone in pork chops
- 1 tsp fresh chives
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- 1 tsp fresh oregano
- ¼ tsp fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
- 2 cups parmesan (shredded from a block)
- 2 whole garlic cloves
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ⅓ cup Greek yogurt
Instructions
- In a small bowl combine 2 cups parmesan, 2 whole garlic cloves pressed, 1 tsp fresh chives chopped, 1 tsp fresh thyme chopped, 1 tsp fresh oregano chopped, ¼ tsp fresh rosemary chopped.
- In another small dish or bowl combine 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt, 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp onion powder.
- Sprinkle onto 4 bone in pork chops and rub in to both sides.
- Coat the pork chops with ⅓ cup Greek yogurt on both sides on all 4.
- Press the parmesan cheese and herb mixture onto both sides of the pork chops.
- Heat a cast iron skillet on the grill to 400℉. Place pork chops in the skillet and sear on both sides until cooked to 145℉.
- Let rest 5 minutes and serve.
