Equipment

  • 1 pie dish
  • 2 medium bowls

Ingredients

  • 8 Honey crisp apple
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup

Crumb Topping

  • 1 cup Old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup Organic brown sugar
  • 1 cup Einkorn flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350f
  • Wash and peel the apples and then slice. 
  • Add 8 Honey crisp apple sliced into a bowl. Drizzle in 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice,1 tbsp Cinnamon and 3 tbsp Maple syrup

Crumb Topping

  • Cut the cold 3/4 cup Butter into slices. 
  • In a bowl combine 1 cup Old fashioned oats, 1 cup Organic brown sugar, 1 cup Einkorn flour and 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Cut in the butter and then mix with hands until combined. 

Put Together

  • Grease a deep pie dish with your favorite oil. 
  • Pour in the apple mixture and spread evenly. 
  • On top sprinkle on the crumb topping until it is evenly dispersed. 
  • Bake for 45 minutes Until the apples are tender. 
  • Serve with your favorite ice cream.
