Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Bites
Servings: 12 breakfast bites
Equipment
- 1 medium bowl
- 1 muffin tin
Ingredients
- 1½ cup organic rolled oats
- ½ cup organic ripe banana mashed
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 1½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp allspice
- ½ tsp pink Himalayan salt or sea salt
- ½ cup organic honey crisp apples finely chopped
- 2 tbsp organic chia seeds
- 1 organic egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉
- In a bowl mash ½ cup organic ripe banana.
- Add in ¼ cup peanut butter, 1½ tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp allspice, ½ tsp pink Himalayan salt, ½ cup organic honey crisp apples, 2 tbsp organic chia seeds and 1 organic egg. Mix until well combined.
- Add in 1½ cup organic rolled oats and mix again well with a wooden spoon.
- Lightly grease the muffin tin (if using non stick don't use a spray).
- Scoop about 1½ tbsp. mix into each muffin tin and spread out.
- Bake about 15 minutes until.
- Remove and let cook before serving.
Notes
To freeze, Remove from muffin tins and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place in the freezer for 2 hours. Remove and place in a freezer safe Ziploc bag. Freezer for up to 2 months.
