A healthy twist on Cacio e pepe. Packed with protein and loaded with cheese.
Cacio e Pepe
A quick and easy pasta was cheese, salt and pepper

Equipment
- 1 medium sauce pan
Ingredients
- 8 oz. Goodles Spirals
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese shredded from a block
- 1/4 cup pecorino cheese shredded from a block
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- Reserve 1/4 cup of water from pasta before draining
Instructions
- Cook the Goodles according to the package, but add 1 1/2 tsp. of salt to the water.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of water before you drain the pasta.
- While the pasta is cooking, shred the parmesan and pecorino cheese.
- Once you drain the pasta, add back into the sauce pan.
- Pour in the reserved water, 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup pecornino cheese and 1 tsp. pepper.
- Stir until well mixed.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
You can add extra salt at the end if needed.
