A healthy twist on Cacio e pepe. Packed with protein and loaded with cheese.
Cacio e Pepe
A quick and easy pasta was cheese, salt and pepper

Equipment
- 1 medium sauce pan
Ingredients
- 8 oz Goodles Spirals
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese (shredded from a block)
- ¼ cup pecorino cheese (shredded from a block)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- reserve ¼ cup of water from pasta before draining
Instructions
- Cook 8 oz Goodles Spirals according to the package, but add 1 ½ tsp salt to the water.
- While the pasta is cooking, shred the parmesan and pecorino cheese.
- reserve ¼ cup of water from pasta before draining
- Once you drain the pasta, add back into the sauce pan.
- Pour in the ¼ of water used from pasta and mix and melt 2 tbsp butter. Once butter is melted add ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese, ¼ cup pecorino cheese and 1 tsp ground black pepper.
- Stir until well mixed.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
You can add extra salt at the end if needed.
