Sausage Biscuit Meatballs

These sausage biscuit meatballs are a fun, flavorful twist on two comfort food favorites. Savory sausage is combined with and baked until perfectly tender. They’re great for breakfast, brunch, or even as a kid-friendly dinner option with a dipping sauce.

Sausage Biscuit Meatballs

Equipment
- 1 bowl
- 1 baking sheet
- parchment paper
Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup Einkorn flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Extra sharp cheddar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375f.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl mix together 1/2 cup Einkorn flour, 1 tsp Baking powder,1/2 tsp Garlic powder.
- Add in 1 lb Italian sausage and mix together completely with your hands. Add in1 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup Extra sharp cheddar.
- Mix together completely.
- Scoop out 1 TBSP. and roll into a ball. Place on the parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160f.
- Remove and let cool for 5 minutes.
Notes
Freeze
- To freeze, place on the parchment lined baking sheet. Instead of baking, place in the freezer for 2 hours. Remove and place in a freezer safe ziploc bag. Store in the freezer for up to 2 months.
