Spicy Smashed Cauliflower

Spicy smashed cauliflower is a fun way to spice up your vegetables. This crispy side dish with make even those the loathe vegetables love them. Crisp, spicy with a touch of sweet.

Equipment

  • 1 steam pan
  • 1 sheet pan
  • 1 parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. chili drizzle we like Ruby Crunch

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 f.
    Wash and prepare the cauliflower. Chop so you just have the florets with a stem.
    Place the florets in a steamer and steam for 10 minutes. If you don't have one, boil water in a medium size sauce pan. Add the cauliflower in for 3-4 minutes.
    Strain and blot dry.
    Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Place the cauliflower on the sheet in a single layer.
    Drizzle with olive oil.
    Sprinkle with garlic powder and salt.
    Drizzle with chili drizzle.
    Top with parmesan cheese.
    Bake fore 30 minutes.
    Remove from the oven and smoosh the cauliflower down with a fork.
    Place back in the oven for 10-15 minutes until crispy.
